Who we are
We’re a handful of volunteers — parents, coaches, retirees and lifelong skiers — who started Northern Skiers in [year] because we wanted more people, especially kids, out on cross-country skis close to home.
Whether you’re clicking into skis for the first time or chasing a podium at the conference championship, there’s a place for you here.
Volunteers groom the trails at the Caribou Ski Center for classic and skate skiing, then post conditions every time the groomer goes out.
Trail conditionsWe host middle and high school races, time them, and post results live — with loaner gear so cost is never why a kid can’t ski.
Race resultsA community ski rental night every fall, the New Year’s Race, the February Frolic and an end-of-season celebration for the whole family.
